Top 10 Towns to Visit…#1 Bozeman, Montana
1. Bozeman, Montana
We traveled through Bozeman a few times in the past, but never had the time to stop and explore the area. On our last visit we took two days and checked it out. We fell in love with Bozeman! The downtown area is vibrant and alive with outdoor activity. The outdoor cafes and upscale shops add to the impressive architecture and bustling atmosphere.
Home to Montana State University, the young students keep the town thriving. Bozeman hosts the Museum of the Rockies which is a part of the University and an affiliate institution of the Smithsonian. The museum has exhibits on dinosaurs, geology, and also has a planetarium and a living history farm.
We spent some time in the ever-growing west end of Bozeman. Almost every building here looks less than one year old. Of course, being seniors, we noticed the abundance of medical facilities and restaurants! Bozeman also has farmers markets, festivals, symphonies, art galleries and theaters. With a town nickname of “the most livable place”, it’s easy to understand why the town is booming!

As far as outdoor activity, it’s difficult to top the southwestern part of Montana. The list of outdoor activities is extensive, with fishing, hiking, and wildlife being at the top. Of course, for us, the close proximity to Glacier and Yellowstone is a huge plus!

It’s wonderful to find a Montana town that has retained it’s local charm and at the same time moved forward with culture and amenities for visitors and locals. Bozeman has it all! ❤
