Travel Planning
This is where Marilyn excels…planning!!
She delights in hours of researching, organizing, and searching to find the places and activities that would best suit the Strayers. Over the years, she has learned to always have a Plan B and sometimes a Plan C,D, etc.
Marilyn always likes to have a “trip in the planning stage”. It just makes a bad day a little better. She uses a lot of online sources like Trip Advisor and the National Park home pages at nps.gov. A flash drive is used to save all the info, phone numbers, reservations, etc for the trip. A small laptop is packed for evening photo review, etc.
In spite of all the great electronic planning tools, Marilyn also continues to use paper maps to see the “big picture”. Such is the life of a planner.
